Group Training Classes
Good Dog Basic:
Our 5-week Good Dog Basic training course is a great beginning for any dog or puppy over 12 weeks of age. Beyond teaching just basic commands, we emphasize important life skills and helping your dog learn to listen even when distracted. The course includes coming when called, walking on a loose leash, leadership, jumping up, puppy mouthing, attention getting, rewarding the right behaviors. One of our prime goals is to teach daily good manners and have fun! The group setting provides a great opportunity for socialization and the benefit of distractions. Each class session is approximately an hour and class size is limited to provide you maximum individual attention. Please bring your dog to class on a 6-ft. leash. We will have leashes and martingale collars available for a modest fee.
Class Fee:
The total course fee of $135.00 includes written class summaries and a collar and leash.
Location:
Classes meet in the gymnasium of the DeWitt Community Church. The church is located at 3600 Erie Boulevard East, DeWitt NY 13214, across from the Shoppingtown Mall and the Scotch 'N Sirloin restaurant.
